Churches and other Religious Groups of Rancho Santa Fe, California: A beach city on California's South Coast, it is located in northern San Diego County, California. The city combines the former communites of Cardiff-by-the-Sea and Leucadia. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 59,518 at the 2000 census.

Baptists form a major branch of Protestant Christianity distinguished by baptizing professing Christian believers only, and doing so by complete immersion. Historians trace the earliest "Baptist" church to 1609 in Amsterdam, Dutch Republic with English Separatist John Smyth as its pastor.

Calvary Chapel[]

Calvary Chapel, an association of evangelical Christian churches, maintains a number of radio stations around the world and operates many local Calvary Chapel Bible College programs. Beginning in 1965 in Southern California, this fellowship of churches grew out of Chuck Smith's Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa.

The Church of Christ, Scientist was founded in 1879 by Mary Baker Eddy, author of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, and founder of Christian Science. The church was founded "to commemorate the word and works of [Christ Jesus]" and "reinstate primitive Christianity and its lost element of healing".

    • BSA Troop 2000 - Meets weekly at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church. Troop 2000 serves boys in 6th through 12th grade, and their families, from Cardiff-by-the-Sea, Carlsbad, Encinitas, La Costa, Leucadia, Olivenhain, and Rancho Santa Fe.

The objectives of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) are referred to as the Aims of Scouting: Character, Citizenship, Personal Fitness, Leadership. The BSA pursues these aims through an informal education system called the Scout method, with variations that are designed to be appropriate for the age and maturity of each membership division. Their Character building program emphasizes Duty to God. They charter with many local religious groups of all faiths to deliver this program.
