The Chaldean Catholic Eparchy of Saint Peter the Apostle is located in El Cajon, California and is immediately subject to the Holy See. The bishop is Mar Sarhad Yawsip Jammo and has been since its inception. It was created by Pope John Paul II in 2002. His bishopric currently sits as St. Peter's Chaldean Catholic Cathedral in El Cajon.
